I have been happily playing with Lowbrow Collective the past one and a half seasons up here in Meadows of Dan/Floyd County, Virginia at all sorts of venues sprinkled just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. This season will be no different - we are back together again for a packed set of dates. I've added the Irish bouzouki and lap steel with some occasional electric guitar gigs besides regularly playing the mandolin. And - finally - singing backup vocals as I can too. It looks to be a great lineup of gigs - checkout my Gigs section to stay up-to-date on venues, times and dates. Also, please checkout Lowbrow at their website to find out more about the band.

The band already started out the season at the newly installed stage at Crooked Mountain Primitive Campgrounds - it was amazing for sound, especially for an outdoor setting. The campground did a great job on the stage construction and I had a blast supporint the Cardinal Bicycle gravel pit event. Unfortunately, the gig was cut in half due to a thunderstorm but nonetheless it was great to stretch the fingers and get back to playing live. I look forward to the rest of the season and can't wait to meet and jam with more people!

Bret playing the acoustic, Jeff playing electric and yours truly playing mandolin and covering up Betsy on percussion - not pictured was our good friend Oliver Lamb playing bass.
