2021 brought some great opportunities for me as a musician and a producer. I met Garry L. Cox through a mutual acquaintance and found that not only did we live in some of the same states in a terribly coincidental manner but loved a similar style of poetry.  I was happy to engineer his audiobook at my home studio in Phoenix, Arizona - in fact the last project I engineered before relocating to Virginia.

It was my first time recording for an audiobook and it was a wonderful learning experience. Not only did I get to learn the Audible standards but recording Garry was a delight.  His posture would change and his voice just deepened (you could hear the wisdom in the tone!) and he'd just let it flow.  Garry is talented, inspiring and, on top of that, a really cool guy.
